What's your excuse?

In this age of internet warriors, it's a tough job to ask people to come and join us on the streets. If you're lucky enough to get past their cynicism and apathy, the sheer volume of excuses will stop you in your tracks - oh I have work, it's raining, there's traffic, I live far away etc etc. Of course there is only so much you can say to convince people; some are content to sit by their laptop, clicking 'like' on everything they agree with. But sometimes, sometimes you get to be a part of something big, something special; dare I say, something 1 billion strong. Sometimes you get to do something that sets the ball rolling for the change you seek.

We all know the stories. They've happened to us, they've happened to people we know. If you've been following the OBR Sri Lanka page in the last couple of weeks, you've seen the testimonies. If, like all of us, you see this as a chance to speak up, to show your support.. then join us. We are rising

Was there on the 14th... Was quite an effective awareness program as well :-) Hope it's not too long before they organize more...
